The Department of Mathematics is a fundamental academic unit of the institution, committed to imparting quality undergraduate education in mathematical sciences. Introduction
The Department of Mathematics, Siva Sivani Degree College, Somajiguda, organized National Mathematics Day celebrations on 17th, 20th, and 22nd December 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan. The events were conducted at Government High Schools in Irrum Manzil and Ameerpet, engaging a total of 40 and 44 participants respectively. Due to semester-end holidays in the college, the department extended the celebrations to high school students. Necessary permissions were obtained from the respective school authorities, who provided full support for the successful execution of the events.
